Lime green and turquoise alternate in distinct color blocks, with subtle reddish-brown speckles here and there for extra flair. It brings to mind sun on young grass with a cool breeze from the water.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"783\">This hand-dyed skein is made of <strong data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"612\">superwash merino (mulesing-free) with bamboo<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"636\">fingering weight<\/strong>, with approx. <strong data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"670\">400 meters per skein<\/strong>. The merino provides softness and elasticity, while the bamboo adds a light sheen and a supple drape. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"1032\">This base is <strong data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"846\">just slightly thicker than the sock weight yarn<\/strong> I use nowadays. It still falls within fingering weight, but knits up a bit fuller. Perfect for shawls, summer tops, light sweaters, or socks with some extra body.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1229\">Due to the larger color blocks, you get a lively, almost striped effect in stockinette stitch. The combination of fresh green and teal makes this a real eye-catcher without being loud. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1231\" data-end=\"1320\">These are the <strong data-start=\"1243\" data-end=\"1268\">last two skeins<\/strong>. Re-dyeing on this base is not possible.
